I recently had a professional bike fit by Coach Kameel and I came away thoroughly impressed and loving my bike even more. Although I had the bike for a year and put over 3,000 miles on it with no problems I always wondered if it was properly set up for me. It turns out it was not. Coach Kameel’s adjustments improved my power output, my comfort on the bike and even made my breathing easier.
Not only was the result impressive, but the entire process was interesting and enjoyable. Coach Kameel took his time and clearly explained what he was doing at each step. He answered all my questions and even passed on some valuable tips on bike maintenance. The experience felt more like spending time with a knowledgeable friend than having a stranger work on my bike. I would enthusiastically recommend Coach Kameel to anyone considering a bike fit. John Dzamba
I think I would sum it up this way: my time spent in your workshop transformed a bike that was literally painful to ride into bike that feels powerful, fast and comfortable. I'm now confident the bike will allow me to perform to my maximum potential, and the bike leg has become my favorite part of a tri. Additionally, I can say that a bike fit has made a significant difference in my wife's riding as well. She was brand new to road riding, and having the bike fit has enabled her to ride much more comfortably. As a result, she quickly gained the confidence to ride longer and faster, and more than one person has commented on how quickly her riding performance has improved.
Thanks again. Greg and Joanna Lukins
My bike fit experience with Coach Kameel was outstanding. He provided excellent, knowledgeable service that was fairly priced for the value received. Here is what you can expect if you decide to use his service:
I met Coach Kameel after conducting an Internet search for Florida bike fitters. I can say that I’m happy to have met him. Coach Kameel was great from the first email contact up to my final fitting on the bike.
Prior to meeting Coach Kameel I was in the midst of a training program for a very challenging road cycling event in the mountains of North Carolina. After 8 months of training I was getting frustrated on the bike with some nagging body aches and my power level output. I had minor aches and pains and in my knees, shoulders, lower back, and glutes. Additionally, even though I could tell my fitness level was increasing, I did not feel like I was getting the most out of the bike based on power meter file comparisons over the last 8 months. My “first” fit with Coach Kameel was interesting. Coach Kameel performed the initial measurements and computer analysis and told me what needed to be done. Unfortunately, we ran into a slight problem with the bike. The first thing that had to be done was to raise the seat. Over the many years I had this bike the seat post somehow managed to weld itself to the carbon frame. Try as we did, we could not get the seat post to budge so we could raise the seat. I was rather embarrassed but Coach Kameel told me not to worry about it. “No charge”. “We can try again another time”. I knew right then that Coach Kameel was somebody special. A few weeks later I returned with a new bike. Coach Kameel performed the fit again. Needless to say we could got everything dialed in properly the second time. No stuck seat post! After the fit I took the bike out on the hills of Clermont to give it a good test ride with my new position on the bike. The correct fit made all the difference in the world. I rode 50 miles with no pains in my knees, back, or shoulders. I also checked the power meter files with this ride against what I had done just one month earlier. I was able to climb much faster and with much more power output. I was impressed. I’ve been on many rides since then and I’m happy to say everything is still great. I highly recommend Coach Kameel for getting your setup/fit on the bike. He uses his expertise and modern fitting equipment to ensure the best possible bike fit for his athletes. I now feel comfortable on the bike and actually look forward to my training. Get a fit from Coach Kameel! Gary Silcox
I had a bike fit done with Coach Kameel. I am a very high maintenance athlete who requires a lot of attention and with very high expectations of the type and quality of services I receive. Coach Kameel's attention to detail surpassed all my expectations. He is very detailed oriented and very specific when it comes to his bike fits. He involves you in every step of his process and he stays in touch with you after the fit to hear your development and progress. Not very many others follow up after the fit. He is genuinly a very skilled athlete who knows everything you are going to need to perform well in the bike. I highly recommend Coach Kameel in any aspect of bike fitting and triathlon world, HE IS THE BEST THERE IS, and you will not regret it!!Sharon Dannel
Like most cyclists, I was fit when I purchased my Specialized at the local bike shop. Although it was somewhat comfortable, something never felt right. Through the years, I tried in vain to fix the fit myself, and wound up totally screwing up my position on the bike. Due to this lack of comfort I started riding less, and making excuses for why I could not ride with friends on group rides, and on weekends. After two years of inactivity, I went to Coach Kameel, and got properly fit. Coach Kameels’ attention to detail and technical skill in the bike fit arena have allowed me to enjoy riding again. He fixed my stretched out position on the bike, increasing my power output, and overall comfort. Most importantly he recommended changes in my stem and saddle, that have made a world of difference in longer rides particularly. He emailed me PDF attachments documenting my fit, so I can refer back to it in the future, and made it a VERY enjoyable experience. I now feel like a PRO, who has a team of people perfecting his position on the bike. I highly recommend amateur and PRO cyclists alike utilize Coach Kameels’ services, you will NOT regret it.

"Want to save money? Coach Kameel's bike fit did it! His bike fitting session saved me $1,000+, as my old bike feels like new after all adjustment for a good bike fit were made. I learned that I need a good bike fit, not a new bike. So, my alleged entry level bike got a second chance to shine.
I asked Coach Kameel to do a bike fit. Armed with bike measurements, I planned to buy a "good fitting" bike. But, after his bike fitting session, it turned out that I don't need to buy a new bike. He made all adjustments on my existing bike based on his analysis and my feedback. The new fit makes me feel comfortable and powerful on a ride, something I'd have expected from a new bike. Unless fitted correctly, a new bike may not deliver...very happy with the results.” Maik Aagaard
Coach Kameel,
I want to thank you for your recent fit analysis, in all my years of cycling and the countless attempts at trying to find that perfect sweet spot, I believe your attention to detail and your fit philosophy has helped me achieve that. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to enjoy peak performance and comfort to search you out. At Your Service… Anthony J. Tsengoles
Technology and science meet bike fitting!! You can first tell how serious Coach Kameel is about bike fitting when you take a look at all his bike fitting equipment. During the bike fit I was able to see in a Computer my before and after position including all measurements in real time with the DartFish software. Coach Kameel explained every aspect of the bike fit process and was quick to answer any questions I had. He is organized and pays attention to detail. To my surprise, Coach Kameel called me within two weeks of my bike fit to follow up and to see if I had any concerns about my fit. This showed me how serious Coach Kameel is about his customer's satisfaction. Now I can say with confidence that I'm properly fit . My ride is comfortable and I'm able to transfer more power to the crank. My average speeds have increased noticeably and I have been able to endure longer rides without hardly any muscle fatigue or soreness. I will not hesitate to recommend Coach Kameel. Thank you Coach Kameel!! Ismael Mendez

"Lets talk bike fit. I had purchased a new bike roughly a year ago. I did one of those fly and ride deals and got fitted for my new bike. The bike felt good; I finished a few triathlons including Florida 70.3 on that fit. I had thought I had the fit dialed in pretty good, until Coach Kameel. He suggested a refit after watching me on a few rides. I can say with up most certainty that the new fit is amazing. I had always read that the fit was an integral aspect, rest assured it is. I am less fatigued, more comfortable and feel more in control in the aerobars. Having a resource like Coach Kameel available is a huge advantage in my athletic pursuits. Thanks Coach!

“I knew getting fit for my bike was important, but never realized just how big a difference it really makes until I got fit by Coach Kameel. I train and race with a power meter and when I compared my data from a ride just the week prior on the same 20 mile course my average wattage, average speed and top speed all went up. It was like getting more fit and a new, faster bike all overnight. See proof of my enhanced performance.Jeff Dannel
I never knew how valuable bike fitting was until I met Coach Kameel. After getting fitted i have less fatigue, soreness, and most importantly I have increase performance. Every aspect from speed, power, and endurance have gained marginally. Thanks Coach Kameel!

Finally my bike fits correctly. I rode for 3 years thinking it was correct but it is better than I could have hoped for now. After completing a 182 miles in one weekend (MS150) without back or knee issues proved this. Kameel is also a coach and can help with your training needs also. He is also very knowledgeable in the newest training methods.

It's like riding a new bike! I always disliked the bike portion of any triathlon because people were constantly passing me (I felt as if I barely moving even though I was putting a huge amount of effort into it) and I was always in pain either in my back, neck, or shoulders. After a one hour bike fit session I have noticed a HUGE difference and actually enjoy riding my bike now. I'm able to enjoy a 2-3 hour bike ride with ease and am able to keep up with everyone else in the group because I am using different leg muscles. Kameel is also a fantastic triathlon coach, I highly recommend him to anyone who is either starting out in their first triathlon or who has been doing them for years, he is a wealth of knowledge. Athlete Testimonials To anyone who is reading this, you've decided that you want to 1) start doing this "triathlon thing" or 2) you may have completed a few tris and now want to take it to the next level. You may be thinking to yourself, "Is training with Kameel worth it?" "Will he really help me improve my performance?" To help you answer those questions, let me share with you my first hand experience with Coach Kameel. In my mid 40's I decided to do my first triathlon with Team in Training in 2007. I received some good basic training and completed my first Sprint distance tri. I took what I learned and completed my second Sprint in 2008. But in 2009, I wanted to take the leap to the next level, an Olympic or International distance tri. In order to do this properly, I checked out a group training session with Coach Kameel through a local tri shop. At the introduction session, I asked Kameel, "Why do you like to coach?" His response was that he really enjoys to see the progress and the transformation that occurs with the athletes he trains. He was very passionate about it and with that response, I signed up. From the first session, I knew "he was worth it". Kameel provides a nice foundation with core fundamentals and then slowly builds your performance with fine tuning and excellent tips/secrets and before you know it, you're ready for your race. Trust me, the training schedule is intense and requires commitment, but if you've set your mind to accomplish your goal, training with Kameel is worth every dollar spent. But the bonus to my experience is that I have a new friend as well. I really enjoyed being coached by someone who is very driven to see you succeed in a style that is encouraging, supportive and always positive. I will continue to train with Coach Kameel until I achieve my ultimate goal of doing a 1/2 Ironman (or should I say Ironwoman). Thanks Coach Kameel!
Joining Coach Kameel's training program for the 2009 St. Anthony's triathlon through Front Running Sports was the absolute best decision I have made in reaching my goals as an amateur triathlete. In 12 weeks I was able to improve my race pace from 10:10 min/mi to 9:00 min/mi; to learn efficient swimming techniques; and to capitalize on my strength on the bike. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and encouragement kept me motivated to train efficiently and effectively. I have never been coached in sports and as a busy professional wondered how this would all work out. There were several times during my training that I was out of town for work for several days. This did not shake Kameel and he tailored my training to accommodate my frenetic schedule. What impressed me the most was his attention to detail, his dedication to his athletes, and his infectious enthusiasm for triathlon. An example of his dedication to his athletes was evident the weekend of St. Anthony's triathlon. From his tactical knowledge and tips for attacking the race course, to his phone calls of encouragement race weekend, to gathering his athletes together for last minute pep talks, to his cheering from the sidelines of the course, you can be assured that Kameel is dedicated to your individual success and attainment of your fitness goals. It is because of his dedication and the improvements attained that I have hired Kameel to prepare me for my future races. So it is with no hesitation that I recommend to you, my coach, Coach Kameel.
As a triathlete my biggest struggle has been cycling. I have had many other coaches that have pushed me on the bike through target races but I have never felt like I reached my potential, nor was it ever enjoyable for me. Kameel not only made me faster on the bike but he also made it fun. His workouts were always goal oriented and I never felt like I was doing a useless workout. I came out of his training loving my bike!
Kameel, is very knowledgeable in the sport of triathlon and has a lot of experience as an athlete and as a coach. I highly recommend Coach Kameel to anyone looking for a coach who will push them and take them to new levels in their training.
I have been working closely with Coach Kameel for almost a year now and my results have been amazing. I had been running marathons since 2000, using various training programs; and although my training was good I had hit a plateau. Three years ago, I decided to enter the world of triathlon. I once again decided to train on my own. All though my results were good, I felt they were not representative of my abilities. Through my local running/tri store (Front Running Sports) I met Coach Kameel. I decided to take his class geared for the local Wildman Sprint Triathlon. Having not used a coach since high school it was nice to have someone supporting and pushing me along. Suffice it to say, the race went well. Happy with the experience I decided to continue my training with Coach Kameel. It has been my experience that he is perfectly suited for being a coach; he is a wealth of knowledge, highly organized and takes the time to provide the best training for the individual; taking into consideration personal goals, abilities and the overall training experience. After being in his program for sometime, I can honestly say that I am in the best shape of my life. I still have room to grow and have just signed up for the 2009 Ironman Florida. I have all the confidence in Coach Kameel to get me, as well as anyone under his guidance, to perform at their very best - all the way to the finish line.
Dear Coach Kameel,
I'd like to express a heart-felt thank you for your support, guidance and encouragement on my quest to become a triathlete. I can hardly believe it was just nine months ago when I hoped on a bike for the first time since childhood and raced my first super sprint. With your coaching and motivation, just a month later I improved my time by 12%! Then you challenged me to finish my first sprint distance and now I'm hooked.
I have to say your coaching style has been a major part of my success. You have really listened to my goals and developed a training plan that's flexible enough to fit into my hectic work and life schedule yet pushes me to improve my performance. I'm in the best shape of my life. I'm never tiered anymore; I've lost more than 10 pounds, lowered my fat percentage by leaps and bounds and gained 24 pounds of muscle.
I'm proud of my accomplishments so far, but am looking forward to bettering my times and finishing the Olympic distance this year. I know I'll hit all my fitness goals because I have one dedicated coach by my side every step of the way.
I was an athlete that thought he knew how to swim, bike, and run. Coach Kameel re-taught me how to compete in these events with the proper techniques to improve my speed and endurance.

With all the free information available on the internet, you are probably asking yourself why pay for a coach. I know I did. But for every article about what to do to prepare yourself for what ever event you are training for, you will find an article that disputes what you just read. Very confusing. And for someone who doesn't consider herself an "athlete", discouraging. I'm basically a couch potato that signs up for triathon events to force myself to workout. I set a goal to complete a half iron man before my 50th birthday. I chose the Miami Man because it has a duathlon category for my husband, a non swimmer. If I was going to spending alot of time training, Chuck would have to be a part of it. Turns out, two of my workout buddies joined me in my quest as well. It was one of my work out buds that found Coach Kameel.
So, to answer the question of why a coach, for me, it turned out to be...there is no replacement for personal attention. Someone who can explain what I've been reading and come up with a plan of action that will get this middle aged body prepared for the rigors of a half iron man. Coach Kameel provided structure to what would have been chaos. I knew, mentally, that I could "finish" this event. But with the program and nutrional information provided Coach Kameel, I was able to train and finish the Miami Man with out feeling like I'd been hit by a freight train...sore, yes, but ready to do it again!!!
I still don't consider myself an "athlete" but because of Coach Kameel, I am an Miami Man Half Ironman Finisher!!! Beverly Smith
It is very important to have a coach who is well experienced and knowledgeable. Furthermore Kameel has the capabilities to know an athlete's mental and physical limits. Kameel has the ability to bring you to your limits without you even noticing it. Then when you do the race and see the outcome you say "WOW", how good is this guy, he trained me for just 16 weeks for a Half Ironman and I could set a new PR by more than 37 mins., that is what I call AWESOME!Definitely with Kameel as my triathlon coach I learned how to train smart instead of training hard and that's what I was doing before I met him. Being coached by Kameel is a unique opportunity, and my experience with other coaches, He's the Best!
I was recommend to Coach Kameel by Front Running Sports. Brian, the owner of Front Running Sports said to me that Coach Kameel was a serious coach. After working with him for the first 6 month I learned several things but some of the most important ones have been Patience- everything takes time especially in triathlon training, quality over quantity - when it comes to training, and finally intervals are the key to speed and building endurance when you don’t have 4 hours a day to train. I am a husband, father of 4, business owner and an entrepreneur with an over active imagination so trying to get time to train is sometimes a real challenge but Coach Kameel’s philosophy of quality over quantity has helped me improve and make substantial progress in my overall goals as a triathlete. For other athletes looking for a coach, Kameel is a smart coach, personable and leverages technology, if you don’t know him, he works every bit as hard at coaching as he does his own training. If you are serious, and willing to work hard Coach Kameel will get you where you want to go.

I've had a hard time writing this because I'm not sure my words can do any justice to the way Kameel's dedication has changed not just my physical health but my emotional health. When I first asked for his help I weighed about 230 pounds. I had two kids both young and was going through a divorce. I needed a change and even though I was slow to change he never gave up on me. He started me off with a program that helped to track the calories I was taking in. I wasn't always reliable about tracking my food at first and I always had an excuse but he didn't give up on me and if he was disappointed it didn't show. He kept encouraging me, giving me alternative options to invalidate my excuses. I had a simple exercise plan to follow and a reasonable goal to reach for. My progress was tracked and when I was weak in certain areas Kameel always had a way (if not several ways) to work through them. When months later, I was ready to face my food challenges there were several options made available to me and easy substitutes to what I was currently eating. It wasn't long before I began to notice that when I changed how we ate, that I could see the change in my sons as well. We were always active on the weekends and I began to enjoy being out with my boys instead of lamenting that I wasn't sitting on the couch stuffing my face with food. Unhealthy food soon became hard to eat not because I was paranoid about calories but because it just didn't taste good anymore. I've lost almost 55 pounds now and it's only taken a year of being semi-serious about loosing the weight. I'm fine with that because there are those times when I still want that bacon cheese burger or grande raspberry mocha and times when I can't run because of foot issues or don't because I lack the motivation. There is truly something to be said about loosing weight slowly because for about two months I unable to run because of my foot and I didn't gain a single pound. I haven't reached my goal yet but with the tools and encouragement I've been given by Kameel, I can see it just up the hill and now I know I can actually make it up that hill without having a heart attack.
