I have a Felt F5 since Nov. 2011 and I was fit at the shop that I got my bike and thought it was a good fit. I was so wrong, I did Horrible 100 and it was painful. A year later, a friend told me about Coach Kameel, he is an open book full of knowledge and a great person. Coach Kameel, is very professional and pays attention to detail. He was meticulous in his approach to my fit; leaving no stone unturned. I'm thrilled with my fit and blessed to have met such a good man. I recommend Coach Kameel, for a professional bike fit. Thank you for all your attention!!!! God Bless U and your Fam. Coach muchas gracias por todo.

C oach K -

Thanks again for dialing me into my new Trek Speed Concept. After just a single fitting session with you, my position was dramatically more comfortable and aerodynamic than ever before, allowing me to focus on maximizing my form and power. Between your professional bike fitting and coaching, I increased my FTP by over 60 watts in just a few short months. That power increase, plus my ability to stay comfortably aero in the new position you set, lead me to a 4:53 bike split at Ironman Florida - a new PR, as well as the 7th fastest overall amateur bike split of the day! I obviously recommend an investment in Coach K to anyone looking to maximize their performance on the bike.

Jim L Winter Garden, FL

First, the facts... I am more comfortable on the bike for longer rides; I am faster - difference before & after is about 30 watts, which for me is HUGE!!! Then, the rest... Two hours with Coach Kameel enhanced my general cycling knowledge and increased my awareness of what I am doing on the bike - for me this was PRICELESS!!! Muchas, Muchas, Gracias, Coach...

Coach Kameel I love the bike fit! Thank you so much! It's like a new bike. :-)

M y name is Orlando I was riding for some time with pain in my knees and neck which made for a stressful ride. A good friend of mine recommended that I get my bike fitted. I was hesitant since I didn't believe in fittings. I was recommended to Coach Kameel and after my fittting my performance and endurance has improved 100%.

Orlando Cortes

Amazing beyond anything I thought it would be. Rides so comfortable now it just perfect

Coach Kameel,
Everything is GREAT. I'm loving my new bike and feel VERY comfortable on long rides. Completed 30 miles this past weekend and will be doing 40 this Saturday.
Thank you so much for fitting me so well. I never knew I could be this comfortable .... I guess I've just always dealt with it!!!

Karin Doty

Coach Kameel I am really enjoying the new fit. The bike has become really comfortable and I am enjoying spending time on the hoods and down in the drops instead of the bars. The new seat position did take about 6 hours to get used to but I am through that thankfully.
Do appreciate your time and will be in touch as the season progresses. Also, thank you for the recommendations on the core work and flexibility. I picked up a fantastic stretching guide and have incorporated several of the techniques into my training.

Thanks again,
Brian Wright

Thanks for the follow up. Everything is awesome. I felt a little akward for about 5 miles but as soon as I settled in I found myself keeping pace with the guys at the front. The whole ride I continued to be conservative because I thought I might be riding a little beyond my abilities. However, I never wore down and finished strong. As a matter of fact I busted out the last mile at about 28 mph. I did a threshold test yesterday and was able to increase my power over my last test by about 50 watts during the 20 minute test. That is huge for me. Some of that is fitness gains but a give the bike fit credit for some of the gain as well. Also, my upper body is much more relaxed. I am actually able to relaxe my arms and upper body even more when I am giving maximum effort which allows me to put the power to the pedals with my legs without tiring my arms, neck, back, and shoulders. I think I will continue to ride at these settings for another month and then I will implement the additional changes that you and I spoke about to get me in a even more productive posture. Thanks again for a very professional and productive experience.

Mitchell Miracle

Coach, Sorry for the late input from the recent bike fit. I cannot tell you enough how impressed with the ride quality, speed and most important comfort. I have gained several mph and the freshest legs to run on ever. Your attention to detail was most impressive to a detail oriented person like myself. I cannot say enough good things in support of your service. I have raced and done much better in the races since your adjustment. Thanks a ton and hopefully we can ride together some time. Just take it easy on me.

Thanks Aaron Brown

Hey Coach Kameel,
I want to say thanks again for helping me with the fit. I got out for a couple of hours this morning and the position feels really good. I didn’t think it was possible for the aero position to feel this comfortable and I know it will get even better with time. Thanks for all your help.

St.John's Cycle LogoFirst of all, let me start by saying, that I couldn't have asked for a nicer, more adept, attentive, thorough & humbler guy to give me my first bike fit ever. Coach Kameel brings decades of expertise into what he does and combines his vast knowledge & first hand history on & off the road, w/ the latest technology that literally blew my mind & has had it spinning (and me) since my fit.

Mine was a simple bike fit for someone of Coach Kameel's range of expertise but, he nonetheless put all the attention in the world into making sure it was absolute right for me. He started first w/my cleats & shoes, which I wouldn't have thought would have made such a difference and which has turned out to have drastically changed my power & speed on the bike, so noticeably. He was so thorough, measuring my feet down to the digits, while talking me through the science & necessity of what he was doing. How the proper placement of your cleats relates directly to your optimum power output. How everyone’s differences in foot anatomy , angles & slopes of their feet come into play w/the proper cleat placement. Your little toes can’t push that pedal w/your maximum power! Which is exactly where I had mistakenly put my cleats when I put them on myself. It all made so much sense after he explained it but, I never would’ve thought of its importance without his attention to it.

Coach also made known to me how ones flexibility plays such a vital role in your positioning & range on the bike. We did a flexibility test, that involved some not too flattering, LOL ! moves to determine where my flexibility range was, and also to determine if one leg waslonger than the other,(which would matter in possibly needing a wedge in the cleat to even out leg distances). Thankfully, nature was kind to me and blessed me with even limbs:) so no wedge was needed.

We tested my core muscle strengths as coach explained its importance to my riding positioning. We also found the areas where I needed to improve my flexibility. Where your flexibility is relates directly to your most comfortable degree on the bike. You can be riding in a more aggressive positioning than your flexibility really optimally allows. Or you could be, like in my case, (hehehe) riding a road bike like a cruiser LOL! After determining my flexibility and where my back degree should be, he made the necessary adjustments to my stem height & seat height. We dropped my bars and raised that seat, and all the changes combines made a difference like flying verses hiking . His changes were so immediate & amazing. I seriously wanted to do another 40miles after just having finished a ride that morning. There was so much hands on expertise put into my fit, but at the same time combining the coolest computer & video software & techniques I had ever seen.

I feel more natural on the bike in a way I didn’t know possible. Coach Kamee's bike fit changed my riding life & there are no words to express my gratitude for his incredible knowledge. Anyone who is riding a road bike or looking to get into tri’s needs to see this man. He’ll change your world, He did mine.

I bought my bike 7/09 and I rode it for a year before I decided that I needed to be fitted for it. I cannot believe that I waited on bit for the fit. After Kameel worked his magic, with measuring, calculating, and making I felt comfortable all the way around, I knew I made BEST decision and felt dumb for waiting so long. My wattage out with my pedal stroke was much stronger and I felt incredibly faster. I improved my average speed by 4 mph and my cadence went up. I would totally recommend a bike fit and I would do it with Kameel. He was very professional, knowledgeable in his work and he is experienced.
I was fitted on 7/10, a year after purchasing my bike. I received an annual follow up from Kameel about 5/11 in regards to my initial bike fitting. Not that much changed except for new pedals, He adjusted my seat and my pedal stroke is stronger than before. With Kameel’s experience, professionalism and knowledge of the triathlete world made my entire experience worth the vested money I paid for the initial fit. If you want to cycle fast and smart….. Get fitted for your bike and do it with Kameel.

Sincerely, Tracy Kubiak

Dear Coach Kameel, Thanks again! Love the saddle! I will send you the money and saddle at the beginning of the week. Here is my testimonial. I was kinda skeptical about getting a bike fit when the shop already gave me one after I purchased my bike. My only regret is that I wished I had learned about Coach Kameel sooner and about getting a proper bike fit! Knowing what I know now, I would have saved myself pain with numbness and tingling in the saddle and would have been a much more efficient cyclist sooner. I experienced a 2.5 mph improvement almost instantly after the fit and I definitely notice more power in the legs with climbing the hills. My cleat placement and seat height was adjusted which helped with generating power as with the handlebar and hood positioning. If you are going to spend good money on a expensive road bike or tri-bike, a proper bit is definitely worth the money and investment! I enjoy my bike even more because I feel so much more efficient on my rides. Stop wasting time and wondering if you should pay money for a bike fit, get it done! It will make you enjoy your bike and appreciate what it can actually do!

I had the opportunity to meet Coach Kameel early this year outside ST John’s bike shop; he was promoting LA Vuelta PR. I questioned him regarding the event and his knowledge on Ironman Training. I felt very comfortable with his knowledge and his training program. I complained about my TT bike and that I was having a hard time riding long distances and could never stay on my aero-bars for long a period of time. Coach Kameel recommended a bike fit at his studio before I began training with him. The fit was professional, private and uninterrupted. I have had a fit before at a bike shop and the salesman was balancing my fit as well as attending to other customers. Coach Kameel took his time and addressed all issues and concerns I had regarding my bike, the fit and my pedal stroke. He told me that the current fit was limiting me of oxygen and I was also at about 40% of my riding abilities due to the current fit. Utilizing both his computer and video program Coach Kameel showed me my pervious fit versus the fit that he provided. It was obvious that Coach Kameel made a noticeable adjust to my TT bike. He also stated that it would take a few rides before I would notice a difference. Well, I have to say that within the next few rides I was able to spend most of my ride on the aero-bars and also increase my MPH and Cadence almost immediately. I was able to leave other fellow riders behind that weeks ago I could not even keep up with. I learned the importance of a proper, private and professional fit and the impact it has on the rider, Priceless.
Thank you Coach Kameel.

Marcus

I had been cycling with a fit from reputable bike shop and thought I was happy. I was among the stronger athletes in my area and felt like all was good. I thought I would do this fit just to make some minor adjustments.....I mean really......how much would need to be changed???? Little did I know that the F.I.S.T. fit would change the way I looked at cycling. I am more comfortable on the bike and getting far more out of my pedal stroke now. Coach Kameel took the time to really get to know my body type and what the set up would need to look like for me. He was meticulous in his approach to my fit ; leaving no stone unturned. Coach Kameel is an open book full of knowledge and an amazing guy! I am thrilled with my fit and blessed to have met such a good man. Thanks Coach Kameel for just being you brother!!!!

Respectfully, Chris Doty

As a brand new road cyclist, I wanted to make sure I did everything as correctly as possible. My initial bike fit was by the bike salesperson at my local bike store. Although he took his time to get me set up on my new bike, I felt the fitting was not very precise. But then again I didn't expect it to be. After several weeks of riding my friends suggested I see Coach Kameel to get a proper bike fit. Coach Kameel is very thorough. Using video tchnology, measuring tools and his expertise, he was to get adjust my bike so that I felt much more comfortable overall. He also noticed my shoe cleat positions were incorrect and so he fixed that using a cleat jig. One of my biggest cocerns was the rear end sore during a long ride. Coach let me try out several demo seats and we found one that works for me. After the bike fit and seat replacement/adjustments, I can ride longer and far with a lot more comfort. I find great value in what Coach Kameel has to offer. I paid plenty for my bike so I feel a proper bike fit is worth the cost to enjoy the ride.

I had been ridding my bike for about a year when I just quit because I just never felt comfortable and did not seem to be improving. During the year I was not riding I turned to other forms of exercise. I saw that a friend had done a triathlon. I thought I could do that. So I inquired at my local tri/running shop (Front Running Sports) about how and where to start with the training. I explained to them my troubles with my bike and my desire to train for a Half Ironman triathlon. They told me about Coach Kamel and how a proper bike fit may be the answer to my biking problems. Once I initiated contact with Coach Kamel he promptly got back to me and set up an appointment for a bike fit. Coach Kamel took a lot of time getting measurements. He measured, he video taped, he re-measured. His attention to detail and his knowledge about my bike and my fit were apparent throughout the session. He freely shared knowledge regarding cycling and triathlon training. The benefits of my bike fit were noticed immediately in the form of more comfort and the ability to ride longer without back or neck pain. Over a short period of time I was able to increase my miles per hour pace and I credit my proper bike fit for these improvements. At the time of my bike fit I discussed training with Coach Kamel. Unfortunately I was not able to start training with Coach Kamel at that time. I still had a planned half Ironman scheduled went on with my training. I was able to compete and complete the half Ironman but felt I could do better so I contacted Coach Kamel to help. From the very first training session it was apparent that Coach Kamel was organized and goal oriented each of the work out had a purpose. There were no wasted workouts. My fitness improved steadily and by the time I had completed 5 months of training with Coach Kamel I was a totally different athlete I was leaner, faster and more confident in my ability to compete. The training not only made me fitter it gave me the confidence I needed to improve. I continue to train with Coach Kamel and have a full schedule of races planned for this season with my goal of becoming an Ironman in Arizona. I have no doubt that Coach Kamel will provide me with a training plan that will have me ready to perform at the best of my ability in Arizona.

Riding a bike that is poorly fitted to your body might be one of the worst things you can do to yourself. I felt uncomfortable and overspent after long bike rides, and would dread biking. I decided to get my bike properly fitted, and it made such a huge difference.

Coach Kameel is amazing. He took his time to make sure that my bike was customized to me and my needs. I was impressed with the knowledge and skill-set that he had when working on my bike. He explained the bike fitting process and went over all the changes he made and the reasons he made them. We took a before and after profile so that you could see the difference. He answered all my questions and contacted me a week later to make sure that everything was alright.

I HIGHLY recommend him. I was extremely impressed and my biking speed and comfort level has changed for the better. I am much more excited to get on the bike and am looking forward to my improvement. Please do yourself a favor and get your bike fitted, it might save you the money of getting a new bike and you're bike will be especially customized for you :)

I recently had a professional bike fit by Coach Kameel and I came away thoroughly impressed and loving my bike even more. Although I had the bike for a year and put over 3,000 miles on it with no problems I always wondered if it was properly set up for me. It turns out it was not. Coach Kameel’s adjustments improved my power output, my comfort on the bike and even made my breathing easier.

Not only was the result impressive, but the entire process was interesting and enjoyable. Coach Kameel took his time and clearly explained what he was doing at each step. He answered all my questions and even passed on some valuable tips on bike maintenance. The experience felt more like spending time with a knowledgeable friend than having a stranger work on my bike. I would enthusiastically recommend Coach Kameel to anyone considering a bike fit.

I think I would sum it up this way: my time spent in your workshop transformed a bike that was literally painful to ride into bike that feels powerful, fast and comfortable. I'm now confident the bike will allow me to perform to my maximum potential, and the bike leg has become my favorite part of a tri. Additionally, I can say that a bike fit has made a significant difference in my wife's riding as well. She was brand new to road riding, and having the bike fit has enabled her to ride much more comfortably. As a result, she quickly gained the confidence to ride longer and faster, and more than one person has commented on how quickly her riding performance has improved.

Thanks again. Greg and Joanna Lukins

My bike fit experience with Coach Kameel was outstanding. He provided excellent, knowledgeable service that was fairly priced for the value received. Here is what you can expect if you decide to use his service:
  1. Capability. He came to my home with all the gear to do a detailed bike fit analysis. His gear inventory included: all the bike tools, torque wrench, goniometer, level, adjustable bar stem, video equipment, laptop with Dart Fish video analysis software, Cycle-Ops bike trainer with power meter, etc. The man is a certifiable bike techno-geek with all the tools to prove it. How convenient to set up an appointment and have him bring it all to you at your home. I don’t think you’ll find home service like this provided by anyone else in the Central Florida area.
  2. Thoroughness. I had two bikes (one road & one tri bike) that I wanted to set-up. Coach Kameel took as long as it took. By that I mean he never rushed through any part of his set-up process. He micro-tweaked and adjusted until he was satisfied. He constantly solicited feedback and kept me informed about what he trying to accomplish with each step. I especially liked looking at the video capture at the different pedal stroke positions. He even picked up on the fact that I was dropping my heel a little early through the bottom part of the stroke and losing a little power. Thanks for the tip Coach Kameel. I also liked getting a worksheet with all the pertinent bike fit measurements and a DVD of the video annotated with Coach Kameel’s comments. He stores a copy of all his clients’ data so don’t worry if you lose track of your stuff. Again, the man is on top of things.
  3. Follow through. After the bike fit was all said & done I was pleasantly surprised to get a follow-up call from Coach Kameel asking how things were going. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable with my new position and wasn’t having any issues. I very much liked his genuine concern and accessibility. He hooked me up with a new saddle too, one that he had been using himself. I stopped by his place and he installed and adjusted it for no additional charge (other than for the price of the saddle itself). Nice
  4. Qualifications. Coach Kameel is F.I.S.T. certified. If you don’t know what this means check out slowtwitch.com and click “Bike Fit” in the top menu of their website. This is a system developed by Dan Empfield , a recognized authority in all things triathlon and founder of Quintana Roo bikes & wetsuits (he practically invented the idea of the tri-specific bike & wetsuit). Read some of the Dan’s articles and you’ll see that he brings a very thoughtful, analytical approach to bike fit. Coach Kameel has been to his school to study under the “master”. He knows what he is doing.
  5. Results. I love my new bike position. I have been able to assume a much more aggressive, aerodynamic position without sacrificing comfort or power. The name of the game for why you want to get fit. I have about 40 hours on my tri bike and 200 hours on my road bike. So far, so good. Feeling good as ever and riding stronger than ever.
Mike Gagnier

I met Coach Kameel after conducting an Internet search for Florida bike fitters. I can say that I’m happy to have met him. Coach Kameel was great from the first email contact up to my final fitting on the bike.

Prior to meeting Coach Kameel I was in the midst of a training program for a very challenging road cycling event in the mountains of North Carolina. After 8 months of training I was getting frustrated on the bike with some nagging body aches and my power level output. I had minor aches and pains and in my knees, shoulders, lower back, and glutes. Additionally, even though I could tell my fitness level was increasing, I did not feel like I was getting the most out of the bike based on power meter file comparisons over the last 8 months.

My “first” fit with Coach Kameel was interesting. Coach Kameel performed the initial measurements and computer analysis and told me what needed to be done. Unfortunately, we ran into a slight problem with the bike. The first thing that had to be done was to raise the seat. Over the many years I had this bike the seat post somehow managed to weld itself to the carbon frame. Try as we did, we could not get the seat post to budge so we could raise the seat. I was rather embarrassed but Coach Kameel told me not to worry about it. “No charge”. “We can try again another time”. I knew right then that Coach Kameel was somebody special.

A few weeks later I returned with a new bike. Coach Kameel performed the fit again. Needless to say we could got everything dialed in properly the second time. No stuck seat post!

After the fit I took the bike out on the hills of Clermont to give it a good test ride with my new position on the bike. The correct fit made all the difference in the world. I rode 50 miles with no pains in my knees, back, or shoulders. I also checked the power meter files with this ride against what I had done just one month earlier. I was able to climb much faster and with much more power output. I was impressed. I’ve been on many rides since then and I’m happy to say everything is still great.

I highly recommend Coach Kameel for getting your setup/fit on the bike. He uses his expertise and modern fitting equipment to ensure the best possible bike fit for his athletes. I now feel comfortable on the bike and actually look forward to my training. Get a fit from Coach Kameel!

Like most cyclists, I was fit when I purchased my Specialized at the local bike shop. Although it was somewhat comfortable, something never felt right. Through the years, I tried in vain to fix the fit myself, and wound up totally screwing up my position on the bike. Due to this lack of comfort I started riding less, and making excuses for why I could not ride with friends on group rides, and on weekends. After two years of inactivity, I went to Coach Kameel, and got properly fit. Coach Kameels’ attention to detail and technical skill in the bike fit arena have allowed me to enjoy riding again. He fixed my stretched out position on the bike, increasing my power output, and overall comfort. Most importantly he recommended changes in my stem and saddle, that have made a world of difference in longer rides particularly. He emailed me PDF attachments documenting my fit, so I can refer back to it in the future, and made it a VERY enjoyable experience. I now feel like a PRO, who has a team of people perfecting his position on the bike. I highly recommend amateur and PRO cyclists alike utilize Coach Kameels’ services, you will NOT regret it.

Want to save money? Coach Kameel's bike fit did it! His bike fitting session saved me $1,000+, as my old bike feels like new after all adjustment for a good bike fit were made. I learned that I need a good bike fit, not a new bike. So, my alleged entry level bike got a second chance to shine.

I asked Coach Kameel to do a bike fit. Armed with bike measurements, I planned to buy a "good fitting" bike. But, after his bike fitting session, it turned out that I don't need to buy a new bike. He made all adjustments on my existing bike based on his analysis and my feedback. The new fit makes me feel comfortable and powerful on a ride, something I'd have expected from a new bike. Unless fitted correctly, a new bike may not deliver...very happy with the results.
Maik Aagaard

Coach Kameel,
I want to thank you for your recent fit analysis, in all my years of cycling and the countless attempts at trying to find that perfect sweet spot, I believe your attention to detail and your fit philosophy has helped me achieve that. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to enjoy peak performance and comfort to search you out.

Technology and science meet bike fitting!! You can first tell how serious Coach Kameel is about bike fitting when you take a look at all his bike fitting equipment. During the bike fit I was able to see in a Computer my before and after position including all measurements in real time with the DartFish software. Coach Kameel explained every aspect of the bike fit process and was quick to answer any questions I had. He is organized and pays attention to detail. To my surprise, Coach Kameel called me within two weeks of my bike fit to follow up and to see if I had any concerns about my fit. This showed me how serious Coach Kameel is about his customer's satisfaction. Now I can say with confidence that I'm properly fit . My ride is comfortable and I'm able to transfer more power to the crank. My average speeds have increased noticeably and I have been able to endure longer rides without hardly any muscle fatigue or soreness. I will not hesitate to recommend Coach Kameel. Thank you Coach Kameel!!

Lets talk bike fit. I had purchased a new bike roughly a year ago. I did one of those fly and ride deals and got fitted for my new bike. The bike felt good; I finished a few triathlons including Florida 70.3 on that fit. I had thought I had the fit dialed in pretty good, until Coach Kameel. He suggested a refit after watching me on a few rides. I can say with up most certainty that the new fit is amazing. I had always read that the fit was an integral aspect, rest assured it is. I am less fatigued, more comfortable and feel more in control in the aerobars. Having a resource like Coach Kameel available is a huge advantage in my athletic pursuits. Thanks Coach!
William H. Litwin

I never knew how valuable bike fitting was until I met Coach Kameel. After getting fitted i have less fatigue, soreness, and most importantly I have increase performance. Every aspect from speed, power, and endurance have gained marginally. Thanks Coach Kameel!
Steven N

Finally my bike fits correctly. I rode for 3 years thinking it was correct but it is better than I could have hoped for now. After completing a 182 miles in one weekend (MS150) without back or knee issues proved this. Kameel is also a coach and can help with your training needs also. He is also very knowledgeable in the newest training methods.

Katie Bike FitI knew getting fit for my bike was important, but never realized just how big a difference it really makes until I got fit by Coach Kameel. I train and race with a power meter and when I compared my data from a ride just the week prior on the same 20 mile course my average wattage, average speed and top speed all went up. It was like getting more fit and a new, faster bike all overnight. See proof of my enhanced performance.

Jeff Dannel

Katie Bike Fit It's like riding a new bike! I always disliked the bike portion of any triathlon because people were constantly passing me (I felt as if I barely moving even though I was putting a huge amount of effort into it) and I was always in pain either in my back, neck, or shoulders. After a one hour bike fit session I have noticed a HUGE difference and actually enjoy riding my bike now. I'm able to enjoy a 2-3 hour bike ride with ease and am able to keep up with everyone else in the group because I am using different leg muscles. Kameel is also a fantastic triathlon coach, I highly recommend him to anyone who is either starting out in their first triathlon or who has been doing them for years, he is a wealth of knowledge.
Katie Lewallyn

Katie Bike FitI had a bike fit done with Coach Kameel. I am a very high maintenance athlete who requires a lot of attention and with very high expectations of the type and quality of services I receive. Coach Kameel's attention to detail surpassed all my expectations. He is very detailed oriented and very specific when it comes to his bike fits. He involves you in every step of his process and he stays in touch with you after the fit to hear your development and progress. Not very many others follow up after the fit. He is genuinly a very skilled athlete who knows everything you are going to need to perform well in the bike. I highly recommend Coach Kameel in any aspect of bike fitting and triathlon world, HE IS THE BEST THERE IS, and you will not regret it!!

I was an athlete who thought I knew how to bike and after I star training with Coach Kammel, realized that he not only is professional and full of knowledge in bike fitting but he is also full of knowledge in training. I have been training with Coach Kameel for the past 17 weeks for La Vuelta P.R. 375 miles; in three days, and Coach Kameel payed attention to detail in nutrition, rest, and proper training. I can honestly say that I have improved 100% in riding skills and being able to compete in these events with the proper techniques to improve my speed and endurance. Coach Kammel, mil gracias por toda la ayuda.

Coach K - Thanks again for coaching me to my most successful triathlon season ever. After largely walking away from the sport for 10 years, I wasn't sure what to do, where to start, and what this 42 year-old body was capable of accomplishing. The individualized training plan that you designed allowed me to progressively grow my strength and endurance throughout the year, to the point where I set a new PR at literally every distance. When I threw you a late-season curveball by grabbing a slot for Ironman Florida only 11 weeks before the race, you quickly adjusted my workouts to maximize the time I had left to prepare. Thanks to that and your attention to race execution strategy, I was able to finish IMFL in 10:46, setting a new Ironman PR by over 2 hours! I obviously highly recommend Coach K to any triathlete looking to take their game to new levels.

When a group of us decided to attempt our first half-ironman race we knew that we wanted an experienced coach to help us accomplish this new challenge. Finding Coach Kameel & Coach 4 Tri's proved to be the BEST tool we could have ever found to enhance our intermediate level experience. Coach Kameel gave us everything we needed to complete our goals with the race and so much more that helps in our training and racing even today. Coach provided a great mix of workouts balancing quality and quantity. Each one had a purpose and Coach helped us to understand not just the workout but why it was important and how it fit into the overall plan. He was completely available for us live, over the phone and over e-mail for questions, concerns and occasionally just to listen. The half ironman distance is intimidating – especially for the first timer accustomed to sprint and the occasional Olympic distance triathlon. Sometimes your “inner demons” can get the best of you and Coach was there with great pep talks and always seemed to have them when we needed them most. He helped us feel strong physically and mentally as well! His advice and guidance regarding nutrition and fueling was incredible. The revelation of a post workout regimen including a recovery drink was worth every penny paid & then some! Implementing his advice allowed our bodies to best adapt and recover from the workouts. We didn’t miss any because of over-soreness or injury and that without a doubt made us stronger! His transition tips and coaching and were great - it's cool to hear spectators comment on how we come into T2 shoeless!! The talks on race strategy - giving us a plan & pitfalls to avoid were right on the mark! There’s no doubt that our experience with Coach Kameel made us stronger and smarter triathletes. His tips, knowledge and information were invaluable and have inspired us to continue to learn more on our own. Since completing our first 70.3, we continued on to a second 70.3 race this time without Coach. But it wasn’t the same. In Coach Kameel we found a great coach, training partner and best of all a friend! Simply, we don't want to train for another 70.3 without Coach Kameel.

To anyone who is reading this, you've decided that you want to 1) start doing this "triathlon thing" or 2) you may have completed a few tris and now want to take it to the next level. You may be thinking to yourself, "Is training with Kameel worth it?" "Will he really help me improve my performance?" To help you answer those questions, let me share with you my first hand experience with Coach Kameel. In my mid 40's I decided to do my first triathlon with Team in Training in 2007. I received some good basic training and completed my first Sprint distance tri. I took what I learned and completed my second Sprint in 2008. But in 2009, I wanted to take the leap to the next level, an Olympic or International distance tri. In order to do this properly, I checked out a group training session with Coach Kameel through a local tri shop. At the introduction session, I asked Kameel, "Why do you like to coach?" His response was that he really enjoys to see the progress and the transformation that occurs with the athletes he trains. He was very passionate about it and with that response, I signed up. From the first session, I knew "he was worth it". Kameel provides a nice foundation with core fundamentals and then slowly builds your performance with fine tuning and excellent tips/secrets and before you know it, you're ready for your race. Trust me, the training schedule is intense and requires commitment, but if you've set your mind to accomplish your goal, training with Kameel is worth every dollar spent. But the bonus to my experience is that I have a new friend as well. I really enjoyed being coached by someone who is very driven to see you succeed in a style that is encouraging, supportive and always positive. I will continue to train with Coach Kameel until I achieve my ultimate goal of doing a 1/2 Ironman (or should I say Ironwoman). Thanks Coach Kameel!

Joining Coach Kameel's training program for the 2009 St. Anthony's triathlon through Front Running Sports was the absolute best decision I have made in reaching my goals as an amateur triathlete. In 12 weeks I was able to improve my race pace from 10:10 min/mi to 9:00 min/mi; to learn efficient swimming techniques; and to capitalize on my strength on the bike. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and encouragement kept me motivated to train efficiently and effectively. I have never been coached in sports and as a busy professional wondered how this would all work out. There were several times during my training that I was out of town for work for several days. This did not shake Kameel and he tailored my training to accommodate my frenetic schedule. What impressed me the most was his attention to detail, his dedication to his athletes, and his infectious enthusiasm for triathlon. An example of his dedication to his athletes was evident the weekend of St. Anthony's triathlon. From his tactical knowledge and tips for attacking the race course, to his phone calls of encouragement race weekend, to gathering his athletes together for last minute pep talks, to his cheering from the sidelines of the course, you can be assured that Kameel is dedicated to your individual success and attainment of your fitness goals. It is because of his dedication and the improvements attained that I have hired Kameel to prepare me for my future races. So it is with no hesitation that I recommend to you, my coach, Coach Kameel.

As a triathlete my biggest struggle has been cycling. I have had many other coaches that have pushed me on the bike through target races but I have never felt like I reached my potential, nor was it ever enjoyable for me. Kameel not only made me faster on the bike but he also made it fun. His workouts were always goal oriented and I never felt like I was doing a useless workout. I came out of his training loving my bike! Kameel, is very knowledgeable in the sport of triathlon and has a lot of experience as an athlete and as a coach. I highly recommend Coach Kameel to anyone looking for a coach who will push them and take them to new levels in their training.

I have been working closely with Coach Kameel for almost a year now and my results have been amazing. I had been running marathons since 2000, using various training programs; and although my training was good I had hit a plateau. Three years ago, I decided to enter the world of triathlon. I once again decided to train on my own. All though my results were good, I felt they were not representative of my abilities. Through my local running/tri store (Front Running Sports) I met Coach Kameel. I decided to take his class geared for the local Wildman Sprint Triathlon. Having not used a coach since high school it was nice to have someone supporting and pushing me along. Suffice it to say, the race went well. Happy with the experience I decided to continue my training with Coach Kameel. It has been my experience that he is perfectly suited for being a coach; he is a wealth of knowledge, highly organized and takes the time to provide the best training for the individual; taking into consideration personal goals, abilities and the overall training experience. After being in his program for sometime, I can honestly say that I am in the best shape of my life. I still have room to grow and have just signed up for the 2009 Ironman Florida. I have all the confidence in Coach Kameel to get me, as well as anyone under his guidance, to perform at their very best - all the way to the finish line.

Dear Coach Kameel, I'd like to express a heart-felt thank you for your support, guidance and encouragement on my quest to become a triathlete. I can hardly believe it was just nine months ago when I hoped on a bike for the first time since childhood and raced my first super sprint. With your coaching and motivation, just a month later I improved my time by 12%! Then you challenged me to finish my first sprint distance and now I'm hooked. I have to say your coaching style has been a major part of my success. You have really listened to my goals and developed a training plan that's flexible enough to fit into my hectic work and life schedule yet pushes me to improve my performance. I'm in the best shape of my life. I'm never tiered anymore; I've lost more than 10 pounds, lowered my fat percentage by leaps and bounds and gained 24 pounds of muscle. I'm proud of my accomplishments so far, but am looking forward to bettering my times and finishing the Olympic distance this year. I know I'll hit all my fitness goals because I have one dedicated coach by my side every step of the way.

I was an athlete that thought he knew how to swim, bike, and run. Coach Kameel re-taught me how to compete in these events with the proper techniques to improve my speed and endurance.

With all the free information available on the internet, you are probably asking yourself why pay for a coach. I know I did. But for every article about what to do to prepare yourself for what ever event you are training for, you will find an article that disputes what you just read. Very confusing. And for someone who doesn't consider herself an "athlete", discouraging. I'm basically a couch potato that signs up for triathon events to force myself to workout. I set a goal to complete a half iron man before my 50th birthday. I chose the Miami Man because it has a duathlon category for my husband, a non swimmer. If I was going to spending alot of time training, Chuck would have to be a part of it. Turns out, two of my workout buddies joined me in my quest as well. It was one of my work out buds that found Coach Kameel. So, to answer the question of why a coach, for me, it turned out to be...there is no replacement for personal attention. Someone who can explain what I've been reading and come up with a plan of action that will get this middle aged body prepared for the rigors of a half iron man. Coach Kameel provided structure to what would have been chaos. I knew, mentally, that I could "finish" this event. But with the program and nutrional information provided Coach Kameel, I was able to train and finish the Miami Man with out feeling like I'd been hit by a freight train...sore, yes, but ready to do it again!!! I still don't consider myself an "athlete" but because of Coach Kameel, I am an Miami Man Half Ironman Finisher!!!

It is very important to have a coach who is well experienced and knowledgeable. Furthermore Kameel has the capabilities to know an athlete's mental and physical limits. Kameel has the ability to bring you to your limits without you even noticing it. Then when you do the race and see the outcome you say "WOW", how good is this guy, he trained me for just 16 weeks for a Half Ironman and I could set a new PR by more than 37 mins., that is what I call AWESOME!
Definitely with Kameel as my triathlon coach I learned how to train smart instead of training hard and that's what I was doing before I met him. Being coached by Kameel is a unique opportunity, and my experience with other coaches, He's the Best!

I was recommend to Coach Kameel by Front Running Sports. Brian, the owner of Front Running Sports said to me that Coach Kameel was a serious coach. After working with him for the first 6 month I learned several things but some of the most important ones have been Patience- everything takes time especially in triathlon training, quality over quantity - when it comes to training, and finally intervals are the key to speed and building endurance when you don’t have 4 hours a day to train. I am a husband, father of 4, business owner and an entrepreneur with an over active imagination so trying to get time to train is sometimes a real challenge but Coach Kameel’s philosophy of quality over quantity has helped me improve and make substantial progress in my overall goals as a triathlete. For other athletes looking for a coach, Kameel is a smart coach, personable and leverages technology, if you don’t know him, he works every bit as hard at coaching as he does his own training. If you are serious, and willing to work hard Coach Kameel will get you where you want to go.

I've had a hard time writing this because I'm not sure my words can do any justice to the way Kameel's dedication has changed not just my physical health but my emotional health. When I first asked for his help I weighed about 230 pounds. I had two kids both young and was going through a divorce. I needed a change and even though I was slow to change he never gave up on me. He started me off with a program that helped to track the calories I was taking in. I wasn't always reliable about tracking my food at first and I always had an excuse but he didn't give up on me and if he was disappointed it didn't show. He kept encouraging me, giving me alternative options to invalidate my excuses. I had a simple exercise plan to follow and a reasonable goal to reach for. My progress was tracked and when I was weak in certain areas Kameel always had a way (if not several ways) to work through them. When months later, I was ready to face my food challenges there were several options made available to me and easy substitutes to what I was currently eating. It wasn't long before I began to notice that when I changed how we ate, that I could see the change in my sons as well. We were always active on the weekends and I began to enjoy being out with my boys instead of lamenting that I wasn't sitting on the couch stuffing my face with food. Unhealthy food soon became hard to eat not because I was paranoid about calories but because it just didn't taste good anymore. I've lost almost 55 pounds now and it's only taken a year of being semi-serious about loosing the weight. I'm fine with that because there are those times when I still want that bacon cheese burger or grande raspberry mocha and times when I can't run because of foot issues or don't because I lack the motivation. There is truly something to be said about loosing weight slowly because for about two months I unable to run because of my foot and I didn't gain a single pound. I haven't reached my goal yet but with the tools and encouragement I've been given by Kameel, I can see it just up the hill and now I know I can actually make it up that hill without having a heart attack.
