Retul Bike Fitting:
Retul is the most advanced bicycle fitting system available today. The system incorporates an amazingly precise three-dimensional motion capture technology, immediate report capability, and millimeter-specific digitizing tool to provide the most accurate dynamic fitting solution in the industry.
Bicycle fitting is best measured during dynamic pedaling action. Static measurements tell the fitter very little about how the rider's body reacts and interacts in biomechanical motion. The Retul system reads the body in motion, in three dimensions. An observer watching a cyclist while pedaling cannot measure lateral, vertical and horizontal movement. The Retül system eliminates the guesswork and assumptive nature of fitting, providing the fitter with the most accurate data set available in bike fitting. The result is that the rider will have a true fit to his or her bike, maximizing efficiency and performance while avoiding discomfort or injury.

Pro F.I.S.T Fit with Computrainer and Dartfish:
Classified as the most thorough Triathlon or Time Trial Fit. It starts with a 3D fit, followed by F.I.S.T fitting protocol while at the same time utilizing RacerMate’s Computrainer (displays power) with SpinScan Bio-feedback (pedal-stroke
torque analysis). This allows the Coach to analyze the adjustments and their biomechanical advantages or disadvantages along the way. The F.I.S.T. fitting protocol calls for multiple optimized tri-specific positions to be set-up to find which is the most comfortable, powerful and efficient optimized position for the athlete. In addition assessing these positions with Computrainer/ SpinScan, a videotape of your riding position from the front and side views and assess your orientation with Dartfish, state-of-the-art motion-capture software. Dartfish offers the ability to accurately take dynamic measurements, frame by frame, that would otherwise be less accurate in a static position. Also, exactly displaying the pathways made by the knees from the Z-plane and shows where micro-adjustments are needed. This assessment is especially useful for the aero position, where the coach can easily and accurately improve efficiency by reducing frontal area. The F.I.S.T. fit protocol assumes a modest level of athleticism, and will establish a powerful and productive riding position similar to that ridden by the pros. This test is geared to the triathlete or time trialist who requires the highest level of efficacy, comfort, and power.

Dartfish motion capture software:
The Dartfish Video Motion Analysis software encapsulates accurate measurements which are unattainable when you are in a still position. The degree of accuracy proves to be crucial in setting the athlete up in the perfect position to work within their body’s limits. In addition, the Motion Analysis is used as a tool to let the athlete visualize their pedaling technique in slow motion and understand the proper techniques necessary to produce power, be biomechanically efficient and avoid injury.
Racermate’s Computrainer with SpinScan:
The Computrainer Spin Scan pedal stroke analysis monitors the athletes power output at every 15 degrees of their pedal stroke. The analysis assesses left leg and right leg power output balance, overall pedaling efficiency, average torque angle for each leg, wattage, cadence, speed, and heart rate. The captured data allows the Coach to fine tune the athletes fit while monitoring the effects of the changes as they relate to power, efficiency and metabolic cost. Even the smallest changes in position or posture have proven to sometimes show large improvements in performance. Only the Computrainer can accurately illustrate what is the output of the athletes efforts in to the bike. Fitting adjustments will be based on a performance oriented goal when using the Computrainer.
